Description

The Golden Gramophone Era comes alive at The Arts House!

The Voices From the Gramophone (VFTG) live concert series takes the audience back in time to the Golden Gramophone Era of the 1930s to 1960s. Featuring works by divas and stars of this period, the performances showcase top local musicians and vocalists who are passionate about delivering the most authentic music experience.

The all new VFTG 2010 season will present the audience with masterpieces by the “7 Great Singing Stars” namely Bai Guang, Bai Hong, Gong Qiuxia, Li Xiang Lan, Wu Yingyin, Yao Li and Zhou Xuan. Other than the wonderful songs and lovely music, the audience will also learn about the life and times of each of the featured stars.

The entire first season runs from January to June 2010 and there will only be 6 shows per month, which will run every thir Thursday to Saturday. Each month’s programming will be different so that it will always be refreshing for VFTG regulars and fans. The audience will be able to pre-book tickets for the full season, enjoying attractively discounted prices.
